CINNAMON SPICED ALMOND BUTTER OVERNIGHT BUCKWHEAT BOWL
(Makes 1 big bowl)
3/4 cup raw buckwheat groats
1 cup almond milk
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 1/2 tbsp almond butter
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
A pinch of salt
Optional toppings :
Chopped raw almonds
Raw chocolate chunks
1. The night before, soak the raw buckwheat groats with 2 cups of filtered water & set aside.
2. The following morning, drain the soaked raw buckwheat groats & rinse them thoroughly over running water.
3. In a blender, add 1/2 cup of the raw buckwheat groats (set aside 1/4 cup for later) & the rest of the ingredients. Blend the mixture till smooth & creamy.
4. Pour the creamy mixture into a bowl & stir in the remaining 1/4 cup of the raw buckwheat groats. Topped with your preferred fruits, raw nuts & seeds. Enjoy!
