In a glass bowl, put one teaspoon of coconut oil, half a teaspoon of turmeric power, one teaspoon of honey and scrape the insides of a small Aloe Vera leaf into the bowl. Mix until everything is blended together, smashing the aloe Vera pieces to create a smooth consistency.

Using a brush, paint the mixture all over the face. It will feel sticky and some will actually drip down your face. No brush, no problem – use your fingers and wash it off immediately to avoid yellow stains. Best to do it over a sink. Once the entire face is covered (we even use it around our eyes), place a paper facial mask over. If you don’t have it, just use pieces of tissue and make sure it’s stuck to your face. This will ensure that the mixture doesn’t drip everywhere. If it does drip in your mouth, well, don’t start trying to lick your entire face after that first taste. Now, lie down and relax with a good book, watch TV or even check out some of our articles to inspire you for your next summer trip for the next 20 minutes. When it’s time, use cotton pads with a little water to wipe off the mask and wash it first with warm water, followed by a splash of cold water (the colder the better) to tighten the pores.

Look into the mirror and you’re welcome ๐Ÿ˜‰ Repeat at least once a week and enjoy your homemade tropical beauty mask for sun damaged skin!
