CLEANSING GREEN SMOOTHIE
Summer fun also means over-indulging in amazing food throughout your summer vacation so it’s about time to reset your digestive system with this yummy Cleansing Green Smoothie to blast the bloat!
Packed full of antioxidants, this green elixir is not only a potent detoxifier but also has a zesty kick with bright and lemony flavours thanks to a dash of lemongrass powder! Going green has never been this easy with our two-step recipe.
CLEANSING GREEN SMOOTHIE
(Makes 1 portion)
1 1/2 cups diced green Bartlett pear
1 cup (packed tightly) baby spinach
1 1/3 cup chilled soy milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp wheatgrass powder
1/8 tsp lemongrass powder
Optional toppings :
Pomegranate arils
Raw cacao nibs
DIRECTIONS
1. Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Empty the smoothie into a glass & enjoy the goodness!
*You may add a little natural sweetener to your liking. Sit back, relax and sip on your very own Cleansing Green Smoothie to blast the bloat!
